The journey to the top has been nothing short of remarkable for the club. After earning promotion from Division 2 last season by defeating A3 Highlanders in the final, Ristozi FC quickly proved they belong in the upper echelon of Division 1 by dominating the competition and going undefeated in their second season in D1.

Ristozi’s regular season campaign has been defined by exceptional teamwork, tactical discipline, and standout individual performances. The club’s defensive line has been nearly impenetrable, conceding just 5 goals across 10 matches—the lowest in the league—while their offensive prowess was equally impressive, with 36 goals scored, led by their captain and forward, BJ Balogun.

The Spring 2024 Regular Season title is the second trophy Ristozi FC has secured this year. Earlier in April, they clinched the inaugural M/D/V Cup, defeating Christos FC in a dramatic penalty shootout after an intense 1-1 draw in regulation time. The victory solidified their status as a rising success in the DMV amateur soccer landscape, and added to their growing collection of silverware.
